Job Description

Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for safeguarding the integrity of critical systems? Are you ready to take on a role where your expertise will make a critical impact? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented skilled and experienced Senior Operations Technician to oversee complex operational systems, lead troubleshooting efforts, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring advanced technical expertise, leadership qualities, and a proactive approach to maintaining optimal system performance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on operational equipment and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze data, and implement improvements.
  • Document maintenance activities, operational procedures, and system changes.
  • Support project initiatives and system upgrades as needed.
  • Manage responses to all anomalies.
  • Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and system manuals.
  • Analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Mentor and support junior technicians, providing technical guidance and training.
  • Develop and update operational procedures and documentation.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and resolution of operational issues.
  • Support training programs and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Basic Qualifications

  • TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
  • HVAC or Electrical License
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in operations, maintenance, or technical support.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial, mechanical, electrical, or automation systems.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, SCADA, PLCs, or similar systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of industrial, mechanical, or electrical systems.
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools, software, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as OSHA, HVAC, Electrical, or Mechanical certifications.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving accountability
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and make decisions under pressure
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems and managing real-time operations
