🚛 Operations Supervisor (LTL / Transportation) | Blaine, MN | Early-Career Leadership Opportunity

Central Transport is hiring an Operations Supervisorat our Blaine, MN terminal to support our growing LTL (Less-than-Truckload) network.

This is a hands-on leadership roleideal for candidates with some operations, dock, or transportation experience—or high-potential early-career professionals ready to step into leadershipwithin logistics and supply chain.

💰 Compensation & Schedule

• $65,000–$80,000 base salary
• 5–10% performance bonus
• Tuesday–Saturday shifts:

2:00 AM – 12:00 PM

4:00 AM – 2:00 PM

📍 Onsite – Blaine, MN

🔧 What You’ll Do (Dock & Terminal Operations Leadership)

• Oversee dock operationswithin a high-volume LTL terminal
• Manage freight loading, unloading, and palletized sortation
• Monitor trailer cube, weight, and load efficiency
• Supervise a team of dockworkers, drivers, and terminal staff
• Track performance against KPIs (production, service, efficiency)
• Manage labor hours and control overtime costs
• Ensure compliance with DOT and OSHA safety standards
• Maintain operational discipline and drive service excellence

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Experience in transportation, warehouse, dock, or logistics operations
• Prior leadership OR strong leadership potential
• Understanding of LTL operations, cross-dock, or freight movement
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop employees
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
• Willingness to work 50+ hours/week and flexible shifts

Preferred (not required):

• Supervisory experience in LTL, trucking, or distribution
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
