A Day in Your Life at MKS Atotech:

Key Responsibilities: The Plant Site Head is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility located in Guanyin, Taiwan. The position functionally reports to Senior Director Operations, Asia.

The role involves managing staff, optimizing processes to meet production goals, quality standards, Customer Service along with ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.

• Lead daily operations in Production, Quality Control, Supply Chain (inventory, warehousing, customer service and logistics), maintenance, WWT, HSE & 5S
• Drive cost efficiency for plant operations
• Shape the plant operations by collecting and analyzing required data, to make improvements and modifications as necessary.
• Collaborate with other entities and sites within the group to deliver efficient operations.
• Improve Customer Service levels by leading and driving QA and customer service teams to address any product quality or customer complaints.
• Establish best practices, standards, and devise continuous improvement in operations and supply chain.
• Ensure plant equipment work as per specifications and appropriate capacity.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment and set high performance standards.
• Coach and develop the team and sustain a high-performance organization.

Desired skills and competencies:

• At least 15 years of manufacturing domain experience in chemical / process industries.
• Bachelor’s degree education preferably in Chemical, Production, Mechanical or related Engineering discipline; additional qualifications in business management is preferred.
• Technical acumen to independently run a Manufacturing Operations site.
• Leadership and Management acumen to achieve results with cross functional collaboration.
• Drive progressive cultural change in safety, occupational health and environmental issues.
• Well versed with continuous improvement practices, LEAN/6sigma and structured problem-solving tools.
• Working knowledge in SAP / Manufacturing operations related ERP
• Team working, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Able to prioritize and handle multiple issues at the same time.
• Proficient in stakeholder engagement and business communication; fluent in spoken & written English.
