Job Description

  • The purpose of Final Pack is to pack toys of the best quality, sustaining the operational momentum, and ensuring the integrity of our team to provide fun to the builders of tomorrow. In Final Pack we work as a team, always collaborating and helping each other to satisfy the needs of our three main customers: Planning, Shipping and Warehouse.
  • Our key focus: Keep or increase our efficiency while ensuring a safe environment, product high quality and pieces delivered on time in full.
  • The Sr Operations Manager (Final Pack) leads a team of employees, and ensure the critical metrics of the area are met, guaranteeing the production plan fulfillment.
  • The main challenges for this position are the partner management, people development, follow-up the tactical implementation plan, ensure the brand protection and novelty confidentiality and participation with other plants to share standard processes.

Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible for promoting and ensuring the integrity of employees through safety tools implemented in the organization (e.g. Proactive safety, risk place assessment, process confirmation, LOTO).
  • Ensure compliance of quality and safety standards (Product safety, QA Handbook, IMS).
  • Responsible for knowing and aligning with customer requirements (internal/external).
  • Connect and align final pack with the business strategy Ensure and maintain production plan fulfillment, improving and optimizing resources and producing in sequence.
  • Follow-up and compliance of area critical metrics.
  • Participation in the deployment of business strategy in their group.
  • Execution of HR processes (IDP, Merit, PRP)
  • Training, feedback, monitoring, evaluation and support to shift leaders and team leaders.
  • Analyze and give information to Local Consolidation and Capacity Review.
  • Evaluate and decide the feasibility of compliance with production plans in the long term term (3-12 months)
  • Evaluate, support on implementation of efficiency projects
  • Support NPI on new technologies implementation
  • Continuously drive innovation across processes, reporting systems and data visualization tools.
  • Coordinating different support areas in an integrated way to accomplish packing targets.
  • Developing people across all levels, including blue-collar workers, blue-collars professionals and white-collar staff.
  • Determining core team requirements, training needs, and machine capacity to support operational demands.
  • Building team capabilities to consistently achieve targets aligned with the long-term strategic plan
  • Follow up and align on global initiatives
  • Responsible for generating a work environment based on the principles and values of the organization (PULSE).
  • Continuous training, feedback, monitoring, evaluation and support to shift leaders and team leaders.
  • Give support to continuous improvement program (LCI tools).
  • Problem solving through root cause analysis and implementation of improvements.
  • Evaluate and decide the feasibility of compliance with production plans in the short term (0-3 months).
  • Take responsibility for the appropriate integration and / or implementation of the QEHS System in the operational processes of your area and ensure its effectiveness.
  • Assign the necessary resources for the management of the QEHS system in the area.
  • Provide support, participate proactively and demonstrate leadership on QEHS in your area.

  • Experience in ramping up operations successfully.

  • Demonstrated collaboration and teamwork abilities, with a proactive and helpful attitude.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
