About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Full Stack Architect to lead the design and development of large-scale, distributed platforms that power critical customer experiences. As a Senior MTS, you will drive technical strategy, influence architecture decisions, and lead cross-functional initiatives while mentoring engineers and fostering engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex technical initiatives across teams from conception to successful delivery.

• Define and drive technical strategy, architecture vision, and multi-year roadmaps.

• Author and influence Architectural Decision Records (ADRs) that guide technical direction.

• Design scalable, secure, and highly available systems across frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure layers.

• Drive end-to-end architecture involving JavaScript frameworks, GraphQL/REST APIs, messaging systems, RDBMS/NoSQL databases, containers, and cloud infrastructure.

• Champion engineering best practices, improving code quality, developer productivity, and delivery velocity.

• Mentor engineers, conduct design reviews, and elevate technical standards across teams.

• Lead operational excellence, including release management, reliability, and on-call responsibilities for a 24/7 platform.

Qualifications

Technical Expertise

• Proven experience defining and executing technical strategy across multiple domains.

• Strong expertise in full-stack system design and distributed architectures.

• Deep knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks and frontend architecture patterns.

• Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs, messaging systems, RDBMS/NoSQL, containers, and cloud-native technologies.

• Track record of driving architecture decisions, influencing stakeholders, and improving engineering practices.

Experience

• 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed platforms and APIs.

• 5+ years as an Architect, Staff Engineer, or Technical Lead driving end-to-end product architecture.

• Demonstrated success leading large cross-functional initiatives and delivering complex systems at scale.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
