What's the role?

As an Sr AI ML Engineer, you will help design, build, and operationalize machine learning and generative AI solutions that drive business impact. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will contribute to the development of scalable models, data pipelines, and intelligent applications that support HERE’s products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models across use cases such as classification, forecasting, NLP, and generative AI.
• Build scalable data pipelines and integrate AI-powered solutions into production environments.
• Collaborate with Data Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to translate business challenges into practical AI solutions.
• Improve model performance, scalability, and reliability through continuous optimization and experimentation.
• Support model monitoring, governance, and lifecycle management to ensure sustainable and responsible AI deployment.

Who are you?

You are a solution-oriented engineer with strong technical capabilities and a passion for building scalable AI-powered systems. You enjoy working across disciplines, turning complex problems into practical solutions, and delivering measurable business impact.

• 4+ Year of experience with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience using machine learning frameworks and libraries.
• Experience developing and deploying machine learning applications, including large-scale or API-driven solutions.
• Practical experience implementing Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions within enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of data engineering concepts and experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with deep learning, computer vision, and modern AI techniques, with the ability to apply them to real-world business challenges.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
