WHY PATIENTS NEED YOU

The Senior Manager, Site Logistics provides leadership for Kalamazoo site logistics operations supporting API and Drug Product manufacturing. The role is responsible for warehouse operations, inventory management, material flow, transportation, and distribution processes that enable reliable patient supply, operational excellence, and business performance.

WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE

The position partners across Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, Procurement, Engineering, and Global Supply Chain organizations to ensure effective movement and storage of materials while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT

• Lead warehouse operations, transportation, material flow, and inventory management activities supporting site operations.
• Ensure reliable material availability and supply chain execution to support production and customer commitments.
• Drive inventory accuracy, warehouse optimization, and efficient movement of materials throughout the site.
• Manage transportation operations, carrier performance, freight costs, and logistics service levels.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, Quality, and Engineering to support site and network priorities.
• Champion IMEx, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, service, and cost performance.
• Manage departmental budgets, resources, and operating expenses while identifying productivity opportunities.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators to drive accountability and operational excellence.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing logistics organization while fostering an inclusive and engaged culture.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Have

• Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 6+ years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 5+ years of experience; OR a PhD with 1+ years of experience.
• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in logistics, warehousing, supply chain, manufacturing, or operations leadership.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Experience with warehouse operations, inventory management, transportation, and supply chain execution.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Lean, Six Sigma, IMEx, APICS/CSCP, PMP, or equivalent certification.
• Experience leading operational excellence and transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing third-party logistics providers and transportation partners.
• SAP and business intelligence tool experience.

Regular interaction with Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, Procurement, Engineering, Finance, Digital, Customer Service, Global Supply Chain, and external logistics service providers.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Site-based role located in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
• Flexibility to support operational issues outside normal business hours as needed.
• Limited domestic travel may be required.
