Sr Mgr Worldwide Sales - Aircraft Contracts in GAC Savannah


Unique Skills:

- Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements involving high-value assets such as business aircraft, aerospace products and services, yachts, marine vessels, capital equipment, or similar commercial transactions.

- Proven solutions-oriented negotiator with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with counter-parties and their attorneys/representatives.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related curriculum or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 8 years Contracts management or related experience to include 2 years managing employees, programs, or processes. Advanced degree in related field may offset one year of experience requirement. Position PurposeSr Manager role in the Worldwide Sales Contracts team.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:
  1. Individual and department level oversight of contracts management .
  2. Conducts negotiations, reviews, and management of domestic and international contracts .
  3. Provides SME support for proposal activities to ensure compliance with solicitation requirements and policies and procedures .
  4. Reviews and coordinates approvals of contractual documents for protection of company's contractual position, satisfaction of customer specifications and requirements, and adherence to company policy .
  5. Advises leadership and other functions of contractual risks, rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions .
  6. Acts as the primary interface with customers including fact-finding, audits, and formal contract negotiations .
  7. Acts as a focal point with other departments for resolution of problems regarding contracts .
  8. Manages contract change process and works with Sales, Program Management, Engineering, Completions, Finance and other disciplines to mitigate performance risk .
  9. Manages work, sets objectives and meets commitments for self and others .
  10. Delegates assignments to others for developing solutions .
  11. Ensures compliance with company policies, laws and regulations .
  12. Manages and provides training to employees, ensuring established procedures and processes are maintained .
  13. Proactively assist in developing and implementing new and/or improved policies and business practices to address changing internal and external contracting requirements .

  1. Demonstrates strong knowledge of international business environment.
  2. Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with personnel at all levels.
  3. Possesses strong computer skills (Microsoft Office), Sharepoint to support communications and business needs.
  4. Demonstrates strong self-motivation and able to exercise prudent business judgment.
  5. Demonstrates strong decision-making ability, negotiation skills and leadership competencies.
  6. Collaborates and works well cross-functionally throughout the business.
  7. Demonstrates practiced adeptness in all areas of contracts administration.
  8. Is capable of managing work, setting objectives and meeting commitments, and is a strong team player.
  9. Directs oversight of a contracts team of moderate size and complexity.
  10. Is able to select, manage and retain personnel.
  11. Where applicable, ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
