Role Purpose:

The Global Supply Chain Planning Leader is responsible for the successful execution of planning processes in a way that balances demand and supply resources and aligns plans to business objectives. This role focuses on enabling business leaders to make data-driven decisions that support execution in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. The position contributes to better organizational decision-making while balancing service, cost, inventory, sustainability, and risk.

Job Requirements

Demand & Supply Planning

• Lead and facilitate the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, including playbooks, metrics, and corrective action planning.
• Own and communicate alignment on consensus demand plans that drive supply planning activities.
• Collaborate with business departments to identify and manage resource requirements.
• Communicate key planning decisions to stakeholders and resolve plan variances, risks, and opportunities at regional and global levels.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for portfolio and risk-related planning issues.
• Drive decision-making processes impacting demand, supply, and final consensus plans.

Strategy & Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement new business-critical metrics and processes to improve speed, delivery performance, cost efficiency, and overall planning effectiveness.
• Collaborate with key cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to establish inventory targets and execution plans.
• Develop and execute a supply planning maturity roadmap aligned with strategic business goals.
• Contribute to special projects and strategic supply chain initiatives.
• Support annual and strategic planning activities while defining the planning function's future direction.
• Utilize supply chain analytics to benchmark and continuously improve planning performance.

Execution & Operations Management

• Conduct and facilitate what-if analysis to develop alternate demand, supply, and financial planning scenarios.
• Evaluate and communicate risks and recommended actions associated with different planning outcomes.
• Lead demand and supply teams, including supply network planning and optimization activities.
• Develop monthly S&OP input plans, including long-term demand and supply analyses and inventory positioning.
• Assess current planning processes and implement improvements in planning tools, reporting structures, and operational workflows.
• Ensure alignment of planning outcomes with overall corporate goals and objectives.

People Leadership

• Build and lead high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and talent development.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and performance-driven culture.
• Encourage innovation and continuous improvement within planning teams.
• Empower team members to take ownership and drive business results.

Mandate Skills:

Preferred Experience

• 10-15years experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Integrated Business Planning.
• Proven expertise in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
• Experience with ERP platforms and supply chain planning systems.
• Demonstrated success managing complex global supply chain environments.
• Strong people leadership and stakeholder management experience.
