The impact you’ll make

Manages, prepares, administers, and directs the control of the budget. Manages the activities of the financial analyst staff. Reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and control, providing relevant fiscal information to executive management team. Monitors division and department adherence to approved budget. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

What you’ll do

• Lead the annual operation plan (AOP) and quarter forecast (QxR) process, working closely with business and functional leaders to ensure assumptions are robust, aligned, and actionable.
• Perform financial analysis on actual results, budgets, and forecasts, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modelling to support management decisions.
• Prepare and present regular financial reports, dashboards, and insights to management, highlighting key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Manage treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and monitoring of funding requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate business cases, cost-saving opportunities, CAPEX investment proposals, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Support period-end and year-end financial review processes by ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful financial information.
• Drive ad-hoc projects such as process improvements, system enhancements, automation initiatives, and special analyses requested by management.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to finance team members where applicable, while fostering a high-performance and collaborative working environment.
• Lead AI-enabled finance initiatives by identifying high-value use cases in planning, forecasting, reporting, and treasury; drive automation, scenario modelling, and insight generation while ensuring appropriate governance, data quality, and business adoption.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
• Solid experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Hands-on experience in treasury management, including cash flow planning and banking operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering capabilities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills; experience with financial reporting and planning tools is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality output under tight timelines.
• Working knowledge of AI, automation, and data analytics tools, with the ability to translate business needs into practical finance use cases and validate outputs with sound financial judgment.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
