About the Job

As a Senior Metal Equipment Engineer, you will play a key role in driving equipment reliability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement within our semiconductor wafer manufacturing facility. You will lead equipment optimization initiatives, develop technical standards, and drive factory-wide cost reduction and productivity improvement projects.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure equipment performance, reliability, and sustainable manufacturing operations while providing technical leadership in solving complex equipment-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead equipment reliability and OEE improvement initiatives.
  • Develop equipment technology roadmaps and improvement strategies.
  • Drive factory-wide cost reduction and efficiency enhancement projects.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, supplier coordination, and equipment maintenance resources.
  • Lead equipment installation, troubleshooting, qualification, modification, and commissioning activities.
  • Identify equipment operational risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop technical standards and best practices for equipment management.
  • Mentor and train Equipment Engineers and Technicians.

About You

You are a technically strong and results-driven engineering professional with extensive semiconductor manufacturing equipment experience. You enjoy solving complex technical problems and leading improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and equipment performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of semiconductor fab equipment maintenance experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Metal process equipment, particularly Sputtering and Evaporation systems.
  • Proven experience managing equipment projects from procurement through production ramp-up.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Good English communication and technical writing skills.
  • Experience with inventory management, spare parts strategy, and supplier management.
  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
