JOB SUMMARY:
The Merchandising Coordinator owns the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of sample readiness, visual merchandising, and website product presence for the Product Management team. This role requires independent judgment in developing merchandising standards, organizing seasonal assortments, and ensuring product presentation is customer-ready across all platforms. The position plays a critical role in shaping how all brand assortments are presented for sales meetings, tradeshows, customer events, and online channels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes other duties as required):
Sample Management & Market Readiness
Own the sample readiness strategy for the Product team, including planning, prioritization, standards, and seasonal execution
Develop and maintain sample readiness workflows, timelines, and prioritization frameworks across categories and seasons
Drives decisions regarding sample allocation, readiness timing, and presentation priorities based on business needs
Partner with Product Development and Graphic Design team to ensure samples align to approved specifications (art design, fabric, trims, color, fit, and key features)
Marketing & Visual Merchandising Support
Develop and execute visual merchandising standards for showrooms, line reviews, tradeshows, and customer events including layout planning and product grouping
Design seasonal product framework that guides assortment flow, storytelling, and tiering (good/better/best)
Own website merchandising readiness in partnership with Marketing/E-Commerce, including accurate product categorization, collection structure, and seasonal positioning
Define and maintain website merchandising standards to ensure consistent product storytelling across categories and seasons
Evaluate on-site product displays and make recommendations to improve clarity, navigation, and customer experience
Assist with digital launch readiness checks to confirm imagery, naming, color accuracy, and key product attributes are correct prior to go-live
Cross-Functional Coordination & Sales Support
Own the development of customer-facing merchandising materials that translate seasonal assortments, sample strategies, and visual frameworks into effective sales tools (line sheets, product highlights, assortment recaps)
Apply established sample and visual merchandising standards to ensure customer specific assortments, sell-in meetings, and events are cohesive, accurate, and align with core assortment strategies
Lead and manage merchandising inputs in occasional customer-facing environments, including seasonal sell-in meetings, tradeshows, and key account presentations
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

Required
1–3 years of experience in merchandising, product coordination, product operations, or related apparel/sportswear environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, team-first mindset
Ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing teams
Preferred
Experience with apparel, teamwear, or sportswear product categories
Familiarity with PLM/PIM/ERP systems or product setup workflows
Experience supporting sales meetings, seasonal launches, or trade events
Interest in visual merchandising, product storytelling, and go-to-market execution
Travel Expectations
Travel up to 10–20%, including seasonal peaks tied to sales meetings, customer presentations, photoshoots, or trade events

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Office, Hybrid: Typically works from home on Mondays and Fridays and in our Statesville, NC location on Tuesdays through Thursdays
WORK HOURS:
Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
