
The pay range is $95,000.00 - $171,000.00

The Senior Planner – D67 Toss/Throw role offers the opportunity to lead one of Decorative Home’s most exciting and strategically important businesses. Toss/Throw is a critical growth driver for the division and serves as a style beacon, setting trends and inspiring guests across Decorative Home. This role sits at the intersection of financial strategy, product storytelling, and operational excellence, providing significant visibility and the ability to shape the future of the business.

A role in Planning means leading the financial strategy, forecasting, and inventory investment for one of Target's businesses. You'll partner across Merchandising and Supply Chain to translate data into actionable insights, ensuring the right product is available to support guest demand while influencing key business decisions through financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
As a Senior Merchandise Planner, you'll lead in-season decision-making, assortment planning, and demand forecasting while partnering with cross-functional teams and vendors to execute the divisional strategy. You'll own the open-to-buy process, evaluate category investments, and conduct scenario planning to optimize assortments and inventory. Through analysis of forecast performance and supply and demand trends, you'll identify risks and opportunities, inform "chase-cancel" decisions, and provide recommendations that improve financial outcomes. You'll also lead initial set planning, validate promotional forecasts, support Pricing & Promotion Center of Excellence decisions, and oversee event forecasting and end-of-season inventory strategies.

This position will require in office presence Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week, and can work from home on Fridays.
