Meet the team:

Dexcom’s Global Medical Affairs team is seeking an experienced medical affairs professional to join our team and be part of Dexcom’s award-winning culture, recognized by Fortune's Best Workplaces in Health Care & Biopharma. The Sr. Medical Affairs Specialist position in Global Medical Affairs is a key contributor to the success, effectiveness and efficiency of the Global Medical Affairs Team and our partnership with the Dexcom Commercial Teams. The Sr. Medical Affairs Specialist position is an individual contributor position within the Medical Affairs department focusing on handling unsolicited, complex scientific questions from healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients regarding company products. The Sr. Medical Affairs Specialist position will provide accurate, balanced, and evidence-based information via phone, email, or digital channels while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. This position will also create and update standard response documents. This position will be a contributing member of the Global Medical Affairs Team, based in Manila, Philippines. This position interacts directly with all members of the Medical Affairs department and closely collaborates with the Regulatory, Research and Development, Product Development, Clinical Affairs, Legal/Compliance, and Quality teams on the development, updating and implementation of standard responses in response to unsolicited HCP inquiries to Dexcom.

This position will be remote, but living in the Philippines and will support the medical inquiry functions globally and in support of all the regions where Dexcom is commercially available – The Americas, Europe, Middle East and North Africa, and Asia Pacific.

Where you come in:

  • You will respond to complex medical and technical inquiries from healthcare professionals (and patients) in a timely manner

  • You will develop and maintain standard response materials (SRLs, FAQs, scientific dossiers) with accurate, evidence-based information

  • You will ensure all communications comply with regulatory standards (FDA, EMA) and internal SOPs, including AE reporting

  • You will use Veeva Medical Communications to manage, track, and deliver medical inquiry responses

  • You will analyze inquiry trends and generate insights to identify knowledge gaps and improve communications

  • You will collaborate cross-functionally (Medical, Regulatory, Quality, Commercial) to align on product and scientific messaging

  • You will critically review and interpret clinical data and literature on diabetes, CGM, and metabolic diseases

  • You will support the development and continuous improvement of medical inquiry processes, systems, and workflows

  • You will rack KPIs, prepare reports, and support audits to ensure quality and compliance of medical information services

What makes you successful:

  • Degree in a life sciences field with clinical licensure (e.g., RN, RD, NP, PA, PharmD)

  • At least 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Information, or similar roles in pharma/medtech

  • Your computer skills include Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Adobe Acrobat Pro; Microsoft 365; Smart Sheets; Microsoft Copilot; Microsoft Teams. Experience with Veeva Promotional Materials and Medical Communications platforms is a plus.

  • You have strong knowledge of diabetes management and relevant scientific literature

  • You have solid understanding of clinical study methodology and ability to translate evidence into medical responses

  • You have proven ability to critically evaluate studies, including strengths, limitations, and data interpretation

  • You have high attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills

  • You have experience with document control systems and processes; familiarity with Veeva is a plus

  • You have proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 – 8 years of related experience

Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
