Verifies
piping and duct design and carries out repairs as necessary.

Conducts
AHU performance review, reviews air and water balancing data and conducts
balancing as needed
·
Liaises
with Consultant to obtain Municipality and QCD approvals as and when needed

Leads
internal and external projects efficiently, managing internal and external
resources, controls costs, concludes projects within time.

Operations Management
·
Reviews
common practices, makes changes to work methods, improves processes.
·
Checks
equipment, spares availability, energy consumption, and recommends
replacement of parts when needed.
·
Raises
PRs in a timely manner and follows up for deliveries with Purchase dept.
·
Conduct
root cause analysis of commonly reported operational snags
·
Drive
service excellence through efficient service delivery whilst maintaining
strict compliance to HSE policies
·
Controls
expenditure on spares, tools and consumables in line with the allocated
budget

Sub-contractor Management
·
Manage
upto 15 contractors under AMC, plan activities, coordinate timely
rectification of breakdowns.
·
Source
contractors from local and international market for supply of spare parts and
adhoc services
·
Reviews
the work completion, approves or rejects the work quality, takes disciplinary
action when needed.
Education:
§
University
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialisation in HVAC, UPDA certified.
Technical
Skills:
§
High
level of knowledge of industry standards, ability to comprehend schematic
diagrams, blueprints, sketches, building plans and other specifications.
§
Must be
able to understand drawings & details, material finishes and construction
material requirements.
§
Good
technical knowledge of heat load calculations, piping and duct design, motor
and pump selection, AHU performance review. Can independently carry out such
calculations for new projects or upgrades
§
Strong
working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company
specific safety orientation
§
High
level of knowledge in Fire Fighting and Life Safety systems, able to attend
Qatar Civil Defense technical meetings and site inspections
§
Compliance
with local building codes, and health and safety regulations
Industry
Experience:
§
Minimum
10 years working experience in GCC, with deep knowledge of all building
systems. Should have managed large commercial buildings. Villa / residential
tower experience will not be acceptable.
§
UPDA
certified
§
QCDD
certified, and able to manage Civil Defense inspections

Skills:

Ability
to lead multi-cultural team members effectively

Able to
prepare high quality of operational reports for Management review

IT/technology
savvy in the use of offline and online tools to assist in day to day works
