Job Description

[What the role is]

You will act as a client representative mechanical design engineer for JTC and various public sector agencies for building and infrastructure projects as well as industrial estates. You will also coordinate with relevant agencies to plan the gas infrastructure supporting JTC industrial estates.

[What you will be working on]

You will formulate project briefs for consultancy tenders, manage the consultants and review their design drawings, technical calculations and specifications from design till project completion. You will work and co-ordinate with multiple public sector agencies and technical professionals in the project teams. You will work closely with other JTC colleagues to project future industrial gas demand. You will plan and advise the mechanical requirements (such as District Cooling Systems) for new or upgraded business parks and JTC industrial estates. You will also represent JTC in various agencies committees for technical matters and technology discussions.

[What we are looking for]

Background in Mechanical Engineering, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in consultancy and Mechanical systems design.
