Peabody, MA

Education: (NA or APAC)
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Education: (EMEA)
High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent. (***If a Degree or specific Apprenticeship or Technical Certification is required please modify the first sentence and add the specifics here***)

Experience:
Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers, forklifts)
Preferred: Experience in a Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) environment.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and release chemical raw materials in accordance with cGMP requirements and site SOPs.
  • Order picking and inspection and shipment of customer orders.
  • Verify Certificates of Analysis (CoA), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and shipping documentation for compliance.
  • Ensure proper labeling, status identification (quarantine, released, rejected), and traceability of materials.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in inventory management and quality systems (ERP, WMS) with RF scanning.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, drum handlers) in controlled warehouse environments.



Physical Requirements / Work Environment
The position requires strict adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), safety standards, and environmental regulations while contributing to operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives consistent with ThermoFisher Scientific’s 4i Values. Must be able to lift 40lbs at times.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $24.00–$26.55.
