Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will support the Director of Marketing in driving customer and prospect marketing strategies across campaigns, email marketing, sales enablement, events, and more.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of traditional and digital marketing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross functional teams. This role plays a key part in supporting full funnel customer and prospect lifecycle marketing and requires someone who thrives in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities.

You will report directly to the Director of Marketing, PeopleReady On Demand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, manage, and execute marketing initiatives including demand generation campaigns, content development, retention programs, sales enablement materials, event and association support, and industry-specific communications for both internal and external audiences.
  • Ensure marketing efforts are aligned with brand standards and business needs by collaborating closely with marketing leadership to support lead generation, customer retention, and thought leadership strategies.
  • Partner with key marketing functions (content, project management, growth marketing, creative) to develop cohesive prospect campaigns and collaborate with sales and operations to launch customer-focused programs.
  • Develop and deliver sales enablement tools and collateral that support field and sales teams nationwide.
  • Contribute creative and strategic ideas to help advance customer and prospect marketing efforts, supporting the Director of Marketing with innovative approaches and campaign ideation.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience in a B2B marketing environment (experience in staffing preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (Pardot/Marketing Cloud preferred)
  • Direct marketing experience across email, social media, digital advertising, events, associations, and traditional marketing
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint
  • Basic design skills preferred

CORE KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Experience with integrated lead generation, nurturing, cross-sell/up-sell, and retention programs
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with sound business judgment
  • Demonstrated ability to execute and optimize marketing campaigns, including reporting and performance analysis
  • Proven ability to develop compelling, action driving marketing content aligned to audience needs and business goals
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects end-to-end
  • Comfortable operating in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience writing marketing briefs and managing partners or contributors toward shared goals
  • Knowledge of traditional, digital, email, and social media marketing best practices
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and efficiency
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset with curiosity and willingness to take on new challenges
  • Strong prioritization skills and resourcefulness under pressure

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities

Salary Range: $77,700 - $97,100 annually, depending on experience and geographic location.

Please note that actual compensation offered may vary based on local pay requirements, and will meet or exceed state-specific minimum wage or salary thresholds.
