PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $128,900.00-$157,500.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $99,900.00 - $186,400.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:

As a Sr. Marketing Manager,you’llplay a pivotal role in shaping how BECU connects with members across their entire lifecycle—from onboarding through engagement, cross-sell, and retention.You’lldesign and define marketing strategies that unify the member experience, using data-driven insights to create meaningful, personalized interactions. This is a unique opportunity to build and influence foundational capabilities, including journey mapping, segmentation strategy, and marketing models, while helping evolve BECU’s shift toward lifecycle marketing.You’llbring clarity to complexity, connecting the dots across teams, channels, and moments that matter most. Your work will directlyimpactorganizational growth and deepen member relationships in a rapidly transforming environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lifecycle Strategy & Journey Ownership:You’lllead the development of end-to-end member journeys, mapping key lifecycle stages and defining the moments that matter to drive engagement, retention, and growth.

  • Segmentation Strategy Development:You’llbuild and operationalize segmentation strategies, translating enterprise segments into actionable marketing approaches that better serve diverse member needs.

  • Marketing Model Strategy:You’llown key marketing models (e.g., next best offer, attrition) from a strategic lens—identifyinggaps, refining existing models, and shaping future capabilities.

  • Channel Expansion & Strategy:Guide an integrated channel strategy across digital and traditional platforms, with a focus on expanding into under-utilizedchannelsto broaden reach, increase engagement, and drive measurable impact.

  • Data-Driven Insights & Performance Analysis:You’lltranslate data into actionable insights, partnering with analytics teams to inform strategies, evaluate performance, and improve marketing effectiveness.

  • Forecasting & ROI Optimization:You’lllead forecasting efforts and ROI analysis, helping the organization make informed, high-impact marketing investments.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership:You’llcollaborate closely with product, analytics, finance, andMarTechteams to align strategies, define requirements, and ensure seamless execution.

  • Marketing Planning & Execution Oversight:You’lloversee marketing plans to ensure alignment with businessobjectives, while guiding teams toexecute againsta cohesive lifecycle strategy.

  • Business Reviews & Executive Communication:You’llown performance storytelling—consolidating insights, leading business reviews, and delivering clear, strategic recommendations to leadership.

  • Budget & Financial Stewardship:You’llmanage marketing budgets, ensuringaccuratetracking, efficient allocation, and alignment with strategic priorities.

  • Leadership & Influence:You’llmentor team members and act as a strategic thought partner, fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications, or equivalent work or education-related experience

  • Seven years of experience as a Marketing Manager or related role

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications preferred.

  • CRM and life-cycle marketing experience

  • Project management skills with a strong service focus and ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables

  • Exceptional written and executive presentation skills, with experience developing and delivering strategic presentations tailored to leadership and executive audiences.

  • Demonstrated understanding of brand and its relation to positioning, marketing strategies, and tactics

  • Business acumen with the ability to research and provide innovative business and competitive analytics, positioning, and strategies toward fulfilling marketing opportunities

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional collaboration, relationship building, influence, and negotiation
