About You:

You thrive in a vibrant, entrepreneurial organization where your ideas are valued. You are motivated by goals, a self-starter, and enjoy wearing multiple hats in a fast-growing fintech environment.

We’re looking for a Sr. Marketing Manager, Customer Acquisition, Partnerships to own and drive growth through aggregators, marketplaces, lead generation partners, and strategic distribution partners. You’ll be accountable for the performance of these channels, from relationship strategy and deal structure to funnel optimization and analytics. This role is ideal for a performance-oriented, data-driven marketer who knows how to get meaningful volume from partners, understands unit economics deeply, and can communicate clearly with both executives and external partners. You would work closely across Marketing, Product, Analytics, Risk and Business to deliver best-in-class acquisition programs that support the company’s growth goals.

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of aggregators, marketplaces, affiliate networks, and strategic partners as the day-to-day and executive point of contact.
  • Build joint business plans with key partners, including volume targets, economics, test roadmaps, and marketing calendars.
  • Run regular QBRs and performance reviews with partners; align on opportunities, risks, and next steps.
  • Own performance analytics for partner channels: volume, spend, profitability and performance
  • Work with Analytics and Finance to understand funnel & unit economics by partner, campaign, and cohort; recommend where to lean in, optimize, or exit.
  • Use data to identify new audience, product, and geo opportunities within existing partners and whitespace across the ecosystem.
  • Build and manage a structured test roadmap (creative, messaging, flows, pricing, incentives, placements, targeting) across partners.
  • Partner with internal teams (Growth, Product, Risk, Compliance, Operations) to launch new products, states, and segments through these channels.
  • Identify and onboard new partners (aggregators, marketplaces, comparison sites, affiliates, fintech/bank partners) that can drive incremental growth.
  • Prepare weekly internal communication around channel performance, test learnings, customer insights, and market trends.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in growth, performance marketing, partner marketing, business development, or channel management.
  • Hands-on experience working with aggregators, marketplaces, lead-gen partners, comparison sites, or affiliate networks to drive new customer acquisition.
  • Strong analytical skills — comfortable with performance data, funnels, and unit economics; Excel/Sheets required, SQL or BI tools a plus.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills; able to package insights and recommendations for both executives and external partners.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority across Marketing, Product, Risk, Compliance, and Finance.
  • Experience in consumer credit, lending, or other consumer financial products
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools for analytics, insights generation, or content/communication support.

Benefits to Joining Propel

  • Growth and opportunity – we pride ourselves on promoting from within
  • Incredible company culture
  • Competitive salary and health benefits
  • Comprehensive vacation package
  • Group health and dental benefits
  • Group RRSP program
  • Support for new parents
  • Diverse and inclusive workplace

Salary Range

$80,000 – $110,000

Final compensation is determined by market conditions, location, and the candidate’s experience, skills, and education. This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentive programs and total compensation may include variable incentives, such as bonuses and commissions.

This posting is for an existing vacancy within our organization.
