Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift

As a Sr. Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, you will handle emergency maintenance issues tomaintaindaily production levels. You will also complete assigned PMs and handle general repair, modification, and fabrication projects.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Make repairs or adjustments as instructed by a work order or verbal request by management on all production process equipment and anything supporting production.

Support daily manufacturing, filling, and packaging operations by making repairs to improveoperationsOEE.

Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems asrequired

Complete preventative maintenance and general repair work orders as scheduled.

Fabricate minor replacement/repair parts as needed within maintenance machining/welding shop.

Assistin analyzing and correcting problemsencounteredduring maintenance work to ensure work is performed according to SOPs.

Communicate daily with Maintenance Team Leadregardingshift-to-shift transfer information. Connect with supervisor/engineeringregardingequipment condition and provide recommendations for enhanced reliability plans.

Collaborate with engineering department to develop capital equipment needs and support new equipment installations.

Arrive to work on time and work during scheduled hours, withadditionalovertime as needed.

Report any actual or potential safety hazards to management.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years applicable work experience. 

  • Experience with automated production equipment in a manufacturing environment. 

  • Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, lubrication, electrical systems, industrial automation, and controls technology. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Strong mechanical skills including the ability to perform mechanical disassembly, repairs, and reassembly of complicated equipment. 

  • Knowledge of industrial control wiring systems. 

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with equipment operators. 

  • Interpersonal skills, both oral and written. 

  • Welding/Machining/Fabricationproficiency

PREFERRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Process' automation control troubleshooting experience. 

  • Proficient in electrical, electronics and controls technologies. 

  • Powered industrial equipment operation training. 

  • Training and experience with safety programs such as lockout/tagout, hot work, confined space, and elevated work. 

  • Strong computer skills to use Microsoft Office, corporate applications, and maintenance work order software system

OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Standing for extended periods of time up to 6 hours at a time, up to 12 hours a day, with frequent squatting, stooping, kneeling, bending, twisting at waist, and climbing ladders. 

  • Possess the abilities to perform the physical requirements of the assigned job as identified by the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) with or without reasonable accommodations. 

  • Lift up to 50 pounds. 

  • Maneuver up and down ladders. 

  • Clean room gowning will often be required

  • Ensure safety of employees and follow all health and safety policies/guidelines.
