Job Overview

Leads small and medium sized projects and manages the technical elements.

Job Requirements

Responsabilities

Monitor and track productivity and efficiency metrics.

Implement production process improvements.

Perform line balancing activities.

Eliminate non-value-added and unnecessary operations.

Conduct workload analysis.

Plan production capacity based on available operators, materials, and equipment.

Identify factors affecting production performance.

Analyze work methods and manufacturing processes.

Implement engineering changes on established production lines.

Support manufacturing projects, including process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.

Support and promote Lean / TEOA initiatives.

Plan equipment layouts, workflow, and accident prevention measures to maximize efficiency and ensure safe plant operations.

Maintain records and systems to coordinate manufacturing operations.

Initiate root cause analysis and perform error-proofing activities.

Provide effective support to the production floor as needed.

Train operators on proper methods and the use of tools, fixtures, and machinery.

Certify new part numbers.

Implement process changes and improvements.

Ensure safety compliance on established production lines, including machine guarding, safety equipment, and workstation design.

Support new programs and equipment implementation, including new line training, line installation and startup, and product flow development.

Train supervisors and operators; develop work instructions and design fixtures.

Collaborate with Quality Engineering (QE) and Production teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for customer complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.

Evaluate and introduce new technologies into process designs to improve performance and efficiency.

Design manufacturing layouts and material flow processes.

Design tools, fixtures, and gauges.

Reduce waste and improve productivity.

Manage engineering changes and manufacturing documentation.

What your background should look like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
