Are you a proven maintenance leader who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments? We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to lead reliability, drive equipment performance, and build a high-performing maintenance team. In this role, you will lead multi-craft maintenance technicians while implementing strategies that maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvement across plant operations.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for advancing reliability practices, strengthening preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and partnering cross-functionally with Operations and Engineering to ensure equipment and processes perform at their best.
Sr. Manager, Total Productive Maintenance
USA, Decatur, AL
Lead the development and execution of TPM strategies that improve equipment performance and reduce unplanned downtime.
Drive improvements in OEE, reliability, and maintenance efficiency through preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate TPM effectiveness and implement improvements.
Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process and equipment optimization.
Lead & Develop a High-Performing Maintenance Team
Provide daily leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to multi-craft maintenance technicians
Balance workloads and resources to meet production and maintenance priorities.
Develop team capabilities through training, feedback, and continuous skill development.
Support workforce planning, performance management, and employee development initiatives in partnership with HR.
Coordinate Maintenance Across Operations
Work closely with Operations and Engineering teams to schedule and execute preventive and predictive maintenance.
Support new equipment installation, design reviews, and commissioning activities.
Ensure maintenance activities align with production schedules and plant objectives.
Provide Technical Leadership & Troubleshooting Support
Lead root cause analysis and drive long-term solutions to equipment failures.
Support troubleshooting of electrical systems, machine controls, PLCs, and power distribution during downtime events.
Implement reliability improvements using condition-based monitoring tools such as vibration analysis, infrared thermography, and oil analysis.
Ensure Safety & Compliance
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations
Lead initiatives that drive improvements in safety, quality, cost, efficiency, and 5S practices
