The Job Responsibilities

Drager is hiring a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Quality to work hybrid in our Andover, MA office.

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Quality is responsible for implementing the DMSI Andover Supply Chain Quality strategy. This includes supplier qualification and evaluation, manufacturing product qualification and approval, KPI reporting for key supplier and production quality metrics, supplier and production performance improvement initiatives, alignment of quality processes and tools (at a local and global level) and department resource management and budget planning. Direction provided for developing, coaching and mentoring a team of Supplier and Production Quality Engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with the North American Supply Chain group and will be responsible for implementation of the designated corporate quality assurance agreements assigned. Drives assurance of supplied and manufactured quality materials and services. Provides local management for supplier and production quality assurance program and activities. Ensure the supplier quality management process and tools are aligned internationally for BU Patient Monitoring.
  • Oversees the implementation and development of the local and regional supplier quality strategic orientation for all material groups considering the requirements of global and local organizations
  • Establishes and oversees strategic supplier quality initiatives and in-house production quality initiatives to support the uninterrupted supply for plant operations and business unit objectives.
  • Monitors, updates and assures purchasing and supplier quality functions are performed in compliance with company policies, procedures and governmental requirements (e.g. GMP, FDA, OSHA, NIOSH etc.).
  • Integrates & maintains supplier quality processes with R&D, operations, and other departments to assure supplier and contractor selection and qualification meet the requirements.
  • In conjunction with Senior Leadership, manages tasks and performance of employees; sets and tracks objectives, assesses performance on a regular basis, provides motivation and creates effective development and training plans. Responsible for development of KPIs to enhance performance.
  • Emphasizes training to assure staff's ability to perform all tasks required and their understanding of commercial and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop function/area budget ensuring consistency with policies and controls. Oversee all financial aspects for the function/area and anticipate and implement measures as needed to ensure budget goals are met and return on expenses is maximized. Participate in long range financial planning for function.
  • Performs other duties as needed and assigned.

Your Qualifications

  • BS Degree in an engineering or technical discipline required.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience with at least 3 years medical device supplier quality leadership experience including direct report team management.
  • Ability to set clear goals, good communication and presentation skills; set goals and motivate people. Ability to work in a flexible environment.

Pay Transparency

The targeted pay range for this position is typically between $140,400 - $168,500. We note that the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.​ This position is eligible for the following additional compensation: annual bonus, overtime pay.
