  • The anticipated salary range for this position is $125,000-$135,000 USD Annual. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

- Executes KPIs for team management as well as KPIs for key/strategic suppliers. Drives relationship management techniques to deliver value for both the company and the supplier. Develops relationship management plans, monitors performance and compliance with Owens & Minor’s standards, and drives continuous improvement with suppliers. Partners with O&M Divisions to develop supplier relationship strategies within categories to maximize overall category/supplier profitability.

Core Responsibilities

  • Owns the company’s primary relationship with assigned suppliers.
  • Develops relationship management plans, monitors overall supplier performance/compliance with company standards, and driving supplier continuous improvement.
  • Serves as an escalation point/support for both the assigned supplier and other functional areas in the business such as Accounts Payable, Contracts, Rebates, Operations, and Sales
  • Supports and communicates the company’s supplier value proposition including new and innovative partnership models with key partnerships.
  • Drives overall supplier metrics (funding, operational KPIs, AOP targets, baselines, etc.) and maximizes category profitability and performance.
  • Negotiates supplier contracts for best overall terms for Owens & Minor
  • Partners with O&M Divisions to identify preferred partners based on overall supplier funding, category strategy, and operations performance.

Qualifying Experience

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in healthcare supply chain management
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare products landscape
  • Detailed knowledge of supplier relationship management
  • Knowledge of supply chain regulatory requirements for the manufacture and importation of products
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment across departments (Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Inventory Management, etc.) to solicit and obtain input, and the required internal engagement to accomplish organizational objectives.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
