Dynamics of the Role
The Pre-Sales Consultant will play a critical client-facing role, partnering with sales teams and senior client stakeholders to articulate TransUnion CIBIL’s value proposition through impactful communication, structured presentations, and consultative discussions. This role requires strong presentation and
interpersonal skills to lead client meetings, deliver compelling solution narratives, and translate complex data insights into clear, business-relevant outcomes.
What You'll Bring:
Client Communication & Pre-Sales Engagement
• Lead client meetings, workshops, and solution discussions with business and senior stakeholders, acting as a confident and credible representative of TransUnion CIBIL.
• Develop and deliver high-impact client presentations, proposals, and solution walkthroughs that clearly articulate product value, differentiation, and business benefits.
• Build and communicate a compelling differentiation story for TransUnion CIBIL’s product portfolio against competitors.
• Partner closely with the sales team to define opportunities, shape solution narratives, and support closure of large and strategic deals through effective communication and persuasion.
• Engage with existing and prospective clients to understand their business objectives, pain points, and success metrics through structured, consultative discussions.
Solutioning & Value Storytelling
• Translate complex analytical outputs, bureau data, and product capabilities into simple, persuasive, and outcome-oriented narratives for clients.
• Conduct value analysis and present clear evidence of ROI, impact, and business value to influence client decision-making.
• Customize solution messaging and presentations based on the audience (business, risk, credit, analytics, or leadership teams).
• Position solutions and address client questions, objections, and concerns during discussions and presentations with confidence.
Post-Sales Client Support & Cross-Functional Coordination
• Support post-sale client engagements through ongoing presentations, value reviews, and structured communication to reinforce product impact.
• Respond to client queries clearly and professionally, coordinating with internal Product, Data Science, and Operations teams as required.
• Act as a communication bridge between clients and internal stakeholders to ensure clarity, alignment, and timely resolution of issues.
Impact You'll Make:
Qualification: Master’s degree in business administration/ finance or Statistics • Minimum 5 years of experience in BFSI (Preferably in Banking/Analytics/Credit/Policy)
• Strong Analytical Capabilities and working knowledge of SQL is mandatory • Experience in R/Python/Tableau will be an advantage
• Flexibility to travel as needed with Executive presence and assertiveness.
• Self-starter, ability to work independently, handle ambiguous situations and exercise judgement in variety of situations.
• Strong communication, organizational, verbal & written skills.
• High degree of responsibility and ownership, strong multitasking, coordination and tenaciously looking for ways to get results.
This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
