Make an Impact
We are seeking a commercially and operationally driven Retail Operations Senior Manager to join our Regional Concession/Retail team in Hong Kong. In this role, you will lead and implement region’s Retail Operations Strategic Objectives.
You will play a critical role in representing the region in Global Retail forums, ensuring region’s specific requirements are tabled and included in any Global initiatives.
This is a hybrid position based in our Hong Kong office. You will be required to work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays. This role reports directly to the SVP, APAC General Manager.
What you will do in this role:
• Develop in partnership with relevant regional stakeholders – Retail Excellence Toolkit
• Create robust Retail Education, Operational Management, Selling Skills, Retail Audit and related training calendar to be implemented across all markets
• Measure and evaluate Retail staff performance across relevant performance metrics
• Conduct Monthly / Quarterly / Annual Retail Reporting
• Review and Validate Demand Forecast prior to Purchase order creation
• Partner and support Country Managers and relevant in country retail teams in enabling best in class retail implementation
• Handle and problem solving on customer service issues.
• Support daily retail operations of stores where needed
• Assist with monthly stock take and necessary paperwork.
• Assist to posting of direct shipment if necessary.
• Ensure all countries have relevant Visual Merchandise items according to principle planogram and activity based planogram
• Co-ordinate with warehouse on the movement of inventory and/or props for Stocks/Visual Merchandise
• Communicate with regional teams on the special project and/or ad hoc task
• Communicate with stores on inventory movement among stores
• Conduct Country & store visits assigned
• Assist with ad hoc routine tasks assigned.

Who You Are
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or higher academic qualifications
• At least 10 years of working experience in any retail.
• Good organizational ability, communication skills and interpersonal skills to work effectively across markets.
• Good communication and written skills in English.
• Resourceful and a team player with the ability to work independently and in a dynamic & challenging environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven success in leading sizeable retail teams
• Ability to deliver under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
• Computer literate and good in MS Word and Excel.
