We are looking for a bold, strategic, and technically exceptional Sr Manager, Retail.

You will be responsible for leading Levi's most elevated and strategically important retail channel in Mexico. You will oversee a portfolio of 35 Mainline stores across the country through a team of 3 District Managers and indirect leadership of all store teams.

As a key member of Mexico's Retail Team, you will be accountable for driving commercial performance, consumer experience, operational excellence, talent development, and profitable growth across the Mainline O&O fleet

We are looking for a strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, ensuring stores deliver best-in-class brand experiences while achieving financial and operational targets.

You will work directly on our Mainline channel that serves as the highest expression of the Levi's brand in the market.

About the Job

  • P&L management of brick-and-mortar retail mainline channel in Mexico, driving operational efficiency, profitability, and sustainable business growth.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth, market share, and consumer acquisition.
  • Analyze business trends, consumer behavior, and store performance to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Oversees cost control, margin management, and store profitability, ensuring compliance with Levi's financial goals, including Revenue, Gross Margin, and EBIT targets at a store level and total channel.
  • This role plays a key role in defining commercial strategies, pricing / promotion policies, support/drive marketing activations and initiatives to maximize store performance.
  • Guarantees financial and operational objectives thru effective planning based on regional strategies.
  • Drive productivity improvements through traffic conversion, average transaction value, units per transaction, and store profitability initiatives.
  • Ensure execution of product launches, seasonal strategies, brand initiatives.
  • Partners with key stakeholders: FP&A, Merchandising, Planning, Allocation, Marketing, Real Estate, and Retail Operations teams to maximize business performance.
  • Identify on-going opportunities in comp doors/New Doors to unlock continuous growth in the channel
  • Work cross functionally in a daily basis to consistently secure brand standards in all ML doors with a consumer first mindset.

DETAIL OF THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership

  • Serve as a key contributor to Mexico Retail Commercial Team.
  • Influence decisions impacting retail strategy, fleet performance, and future growth.
  • Support new store openings, remodels, relocations, and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead change management efforts and drive adoption of new tools, processes, and business priorities.

Consumer Experience & Brand Excellence

  • Champion a premium and consistent Levi's consumer experience across all Mainline locations.
  • Ensure stores represent the highest standards of visual merchandising, storytelling, and brand presentation.
  • Drive customer engagement, loyalty, and omnichannel adoption.
  • Partner with Brand Experience and Marketing teams to elevate store experiences and local market activations.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure flawless execution of operational standards, inventory management, shrink control, compliance, and safety procedures.
  • Drive operational consistency and process discipline across all locations.
  • Monitor labor productivity and workforce planning to optimize store performance.
  • Lead action plans to improve operational KPIs and customer service metrics.
  • Leader for District Managers day-to-day.
  • Establishes the sales plans according to the sales objectives of the company according to volume, margin and inventory, seasonal and annual plans.
  • Coordinates the operations and procedures with the team.
  • Liaise with Merchandise team inputs concerning the pre-line and assortment.
  • Leads the financial plans, inventory information, synchronization, flow and reconciliation.
  • Supervises the inventory projections monthly for each level of style, for a 12 month period to ensure healthy inventory levels.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3 District Managers and a total store fleet of +300 store team members
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and results.
  • Drive succession planning and talent development across the store organization.
  • Identify and develop future leaders within the retail organization.

Foster employee engagement and reinforce Levi's values and leadership expectations.

Experience 10 years working for a Retail industry

Knowledge and Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in Retail management.
  • Minimum 5 years leading multi-unit retail operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Administration, Retail Management or related field.
  • Experience managing large geographic territories and multiple store formats.
  • Experience delivering commercial and operational results.
  • Experience leading leaders (District Managers, Regional Managers, or equivalent).
  • Analytical skills, financial reporting and KPI's
  • Management Skills – engage the team, get their trust, and achieve the goals.
  • Result oriented, strong negotiation skills
  • Consumer focus
  • Fluent in English.
