    This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, a team that manages the logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon's industry leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively so that people can see brilliantly.

    The Sr. Manager, Production Planning Management (Management Path), is primarily responsible for setting goals to integrate manufacturing and planning policies, maximizing manufacturing capacity, and leading multiple teams for operational success. Specifics include:

    • Set goals and objectives to integrate manufacturing and planning policies, processes, programs, and operational efficiencies
    • Ensure maximum utilization of manufacturing capacity, including labor, tools, and equipment
    • Oversee and lead multiple teams, implementing departmental plans and ensuring team performance and success
    • Make decisions affecting team operations and performance, requiring leadership, project management, problem-solving, and communication
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes
    • Ensure adherence to GxP regulations by following SOPs, maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring quality control, and completing required training
    • Commit to continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements, meeting individual job requirements and contributing to overall organizational compliance
