Come be a part of Amazon's Live Sports Production team. We are looking for a proven production operations leader to serve in a senior leadership capacity within a rapidly growing global live sports production organization. This is not a role for someone looking to inherit a playbook. Our production operation is purpose-built around the needs of an expanding, multi-sport live portfolio rather than modeled after a traditional broadcast network structure. We are defining and building as we evolve, and this person must be ready to shape what comes next.
As Sr. Manager, Production Operations, you will be a key leader within the Production Operations group, extending operational reach across the Prime Video Live Sports organization. You will manage a team of production operations leads and define the operational blueprint for how the function scales alongside a business that spans event, studio, and remote production formats across multiple sports properties throughout the year. This role is central to balancing internal capabilities with external partnerships, continuously evaluating the right operational approach as the business evolves.
You will own the end-to-end production lifecycle across multiple properties, from financial modeling and scoping through vendor procurement, operational design, and boots-on-the-ground execution. This role demands someone who can operate at a strategic and tactical level: building for scale while ensuring flawless execution across concurrent live sports productions.
The successful candidate brings deep live sports production acumen, strategic operations experience, and financial rigor. They have built production budgets and operational frameworks from the ground up, not just managed what was handed to them. They are comfortable navigating ambiguity, making high-judgment calls with incomplete information, and driving alignment across a complex stakeholder landscape.
