About the Role

The Sr. Manager, Operations Finance, Supply Chain & Procurement sits within the Business Performance Team and provides financial leadership, business insight and analytics to support decision making for their business partners. This role is responsible for thedevelopment of annual and quarterly budgets, monthly variance analysis against budgets, and explaining monthly results to Supply Chain and Procurement leadership. This role leads project and investment analysis for savings initiatives and capital projects across Supply Chain and Procurement. The Sr. Manager, Operations Finance develops indirect reports by partnering with them, reviewing work, and providing constructive feedback. This role performs a variety of ad hoc financial analyses over other areas of the business as necessary. Additionally, this roleensures that the Supply Chain and Procurement groups remain in compliance with accounting control standards and Primient financial policies.

Key responsibilitiesSr. Manager, Operations Finance

  • Provide Strategic Financial Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor and partnerto the VPand leadership/management teams of Supply Chain and Procurement enabling sound financial decisions.
  • Deliver Business Insights Across Supply Chain: Generate business actionable insight and analytics for decision support across the Primient Supply Chain Network (Transportation, Warehousing, Inventory Management, and S&OP) and the Procurement Network (Energy, Chemicals, Packaging, Plant Services, Indirect, and Global spend ((Labor, Services, MRO, Warehousing, Tolling, Capex)).
  • Own Procurement Savings Tracking: Oversee tracking and reporting of savings targets across Procurement, ensuring alignment with strategic and financial goals.
  • Support Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Partner with leaders to identify and implement process improvements including implementation of best practices across both networks.
  • Create Clear, Executive-Ready Communications: Develop management reporting and presentation materials that synthesize complex data into compelling, decision-ready insights.
  • Provide Strategic Decision Support: Provide rigorous financial analysis and risk assessments of strategic and commercially sensitive business initiatives, including capital and lease investments.
  • Lead Analysis and Reporting of KPIs: Drive monthly reporting and analysis of actual performance results and KPI’s for Supply Chain and Procurement.
  • Drive Annual Planning and Forecasting: Lead development of the Annual Operating Plan and rolling forecasts for Supply Chain and Procurement, aligning financial targets with business priorities.
  • Ensure Control and Policy Compliance: Lead compliance reporting for Minimum Control Standards and ensure financial integrity across Supply Chain and Procurement operations.
  • Directly support the management of the Operations Finance CoE Team Indirectly manage the short to mid-term execution of functional strategy and the operational direction of the CoE department in conjunction with the CoE leadership team.Provide leadership over complexproblem solving and support the execution of extensive investigation and analysis.

Required and Preferred Education/Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
Master’s degree in Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
Professional certification such as CPA or equivalent(preferred)

Required and Preferred Work Experience

5-10 years of progressive finance experience (required)
Experience interacting with senior executives (required)
Experience in Plant Controller and/or FP&A roles (preferred)

Total Rewards

The annual pay range estimated for this position is $139,054.40 - $173,818.00 and is bonus eligible.

Please note that while this range reflects the full spectrum of compensation available for this role, individual compensation will be determined based on several factors including your experience, skills, and alignment with the role's responsibilities.During the interview process there will be an opportunity to discuss how your background fits into the pay range.
