Multiple Positions Available:

1. Drives creation of quality, process improvement, and Lean initiatives by designing and implementing quality improvement programs; analyzing defects and root causes to implement corrective actions; leading efficiency-focused process improvements; monitoring key operational indicators to assess safety, quality, and process results; collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement changes affecting multiple departments; and standardizing best practices across shifts and departments to support continuous improvement and Fulfillment Center business objectives.
2. Responsible for the overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience of Inbound or Outbound operations by ensuring that receiving, stowing, picking, packing, shipping, and related processes meet operational standards; analyzing deviations from safety, quality, and performance expectations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions; developing labor planning and workflow strategies to align resources with changing volume; leading and mentoring Operations and Area Managers to strengthen leadership capability and ensure adherence to standard procedures; and conducting business reviews to identify challenges and implement data-driven improvements.
3. Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers by establishing departmental goals and performance standards aligned with Fulfillment Center objectives; analyzing operational metrics to identify gaps and remove barriers to success; conducting performance and business reviews to provide data-driven feedback and improvement plans; holding managers accountable for labor planning, workflow management, and adherence to standard operating procedures; and mentoring and developing leadership capabilities through coaching and succession-focused initiatives.
4. Leverage Operations and Area Managers by sourcing and developing process improvement ideas through structured discussions and feedback forums; using data-driven analysis to evaluate proposed initiatives and prioritize high-impact opportunities; overseeing pilot testing of operational changes and assessing outcomes to refine solutions; and standardizing, documenting, and scaling successful improvements across shifts and departments to ensure consistent adoption and long-term sustainability.
5. Take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments, shifts, and the broader network by identifying, documenting, and standardizing effective operational practices; facilitating cross-shift and cross-departmental forums to communicate and promote adoption; collaborating with network and peer sites to benchmark performance and integrate broader operational improvements; developing training and change-management programs to support consistent implementation; and establishing mechanisms to audit and measure adherence to ensure best practices are sustained over time.
6. Works closely with support staff—including HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and senior Operations leaders—by collaborating on labor planning, staffing, budgeting, and resource alignment; partnering with safety and engineering teams to support site initiatives that enhance compliance, ergonomics, and associate well-being; coordinating with technology and process engineering teams to prioritize and implement system and process improvements; leading cross-functional project planning to secure resources, align priorities, and remove obstacles; and providing support for partner-driven programs to ensure consistent adoption of initiatives across the Fulfillment Center.

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $148967 - $182700)

Basic Qualifications


Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation in management, operations, or engineering. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation in management, operations, or engineering.
Experience must include:
1) 3 years of direct management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment.
2) 3 years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
3) 3 years of experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and termination.
4) 3 years of experience with a contingent workforce during peak seasons

The pay range for this position in Matteson, IL is $148967 - $182700 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
