Job Description

The Senior Manager, Engineering Delivery is responsible for leading multiple cross-functional teams—including Quality Engineers, Business Systems Analysts and others—to deliver high-quality technology solutions aligned to business priorities. This role owns both delivery outcomes and the evolution of how delivery is executed, driving a shift toward AI-enabled, automation-first quality engineering and requirements practices.

This leader will champion modern delivery capabilities, embedding AI into quality engineering and requirements practices, and fostering a culture where automation, precision, and continuous improvement are the standard.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership

  • Lead and develop multiple teams of Quality Engineers, Business Systems Analysts and others to deliver against prioritized business initiatives
  • Ensure consistent, predictable delivery of high-quality software aligned to business outcomes
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Business stakeholders to plan, execute, and continuously improve delivery
  • Drive momentum across large, complex programs with high ambiguity.
  • Champion an exciting transformation to keep team engaged, productive and positive.

Quality Engineering & Automation

  • Own and evolve the quality engineering strategy, driving a shift from manual testing to automation-first and AI-enabled testing practices
  • Oversee and enhance the existing automated regression suite, improving coverage, reliability, and efficiency
  • Implement AI-driven approaches for test case generation, gap analysis, and risk-based testing
  • Establish quality metrics, standards, and practices that improve release confidence and reduce defects

Business Systems Analysis Excellence

  • Lead the transformation of business analysis practices toward AI-enabled requirements engineering
  • Enable teams to leverage AI tools to produce high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation
  • Standardize best practices for requirements clarity, completeness, and alignment with business intent
  • Improve the overall quality and efficiency of backlog creation and refinement

AI-Enabled Delivery Practices

  • Drive adoption of AI tools and capabilities across delivery teams, moving from ad hoc usage to scalable, standardized practices
  • Identify opportunities to embed AI across the SDLC, including requirements, testing, and delivery workflows
  • Partner with engineering and platform teams to align on tools, governance, and best practices
  • Measure and track the impact of AI adoption on velocity, quality, and efficiency

People Leadership & Culture

  • Build, coach, and develop high-performing teams across Quality Engineering and Business Systems Analysis
  • Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and innovation
  • Lead change management efforts to embed new tools, practices, and ways of working
  • Promote an automation-first and AI-first mindset across teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years in software development, QA, or related disciplines
  • 4+ years leading multiple teams across functions (QA, BSA, Engineering)
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional delivery teams in a software engineering environment
  • Strong background in quality engineering, test automation, and/or business systems analysis
  • Demonstrated experience driving automation and/or AI-enabled transformation within delivery organizations
  • Familiarity with modern AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, test automation frameworks) and their application across the SDLC
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to lead through change and influence adoption of new practices at scale

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in ERP platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) or enterprise systems
  • Background in agile at scale environments
