Job Description

The Senior Manager, BU Forecasting & Demand Planning is responsible for driving revenue attainment, pricing and margin optimization, and inventory health through strong ownership of the BU demand signal. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure demand, price, and inventory are aligned with business strategy and long-term growth objectives. The position requires strong leadership, analytical rigor, and executive-level communication and presentation skills.

  • Own the BU revenue forecast and demand plan across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons.
  • Drive revenue attainment by identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities, and leading cross-functional actions.
  • Act as BU price owner, monitoring ASP, price realization, mix, and erosion to optimize margin.
  • Ensure pricing assumptions are fully embedded and aligned within forecasts, strategic plans, and executive reviews.
  • Integrate demand signals from Sales, Marketing, POS, backlog, and market data into a single, aligned BU demand signal.
  • Own distribution inventory planning and control, balancing service, working capital, and revenue conversion.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to align demand, inventory, and supply; proactively manage excess and inventory risk.
  • Lead development of the 5‑year BU strategic plan, including demand outlook, revenue, and key assumptions.
  • Communicate clearly to leadership on demand, pricing, margin, and inventory trade-offs and required decisions.
  • Lead, develop, and coach a team of BU forecasters and demand planners.
  • Prepare and deliver concise, executive-level presentations for BU, Group, and Corporate leadership forums.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, pricing, or business operations.
  • Proven ownership of revenue forecasting, pricing, and inventory management in a complex environment.
  • Experience with long-range (multi-year) strategic planning.
  • Strong people leadership and cross-functional influence skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and executive presentation capabilities.
