General Profile: Provides leadership and direction through managers and professional staff. Is accountable for the performance and results of a region or related job families. Executes segment/functional business plans and contributes to the development of segment/functional strategy. Decisions are guided by segment/functional strategy and priorities. Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading an organization of Buyers and Materials Program Managers in support of Etch/SRP WW Operations in Singapore.

Responsible for building the team from the ground up: defining organization structure and resource mix, hiring/training/developing top Buyer / MPM / First Level Manager talent, and effectively deploying these resources to support the evolving needs of Etch/SRP Operations in Singapore.

Responsible for ensuring On Time Delivery of all materials to the Singapore factory on spend of >$500M/year, while supporting Global Supply Chain objectives for MCOS, Lead-Time, Resiliency, and Advanced Purchasing Programs.

Responsible for globally leading Etch/SRP Supply Chain engagement in one or more commodity segments (such as EF&F-CM, OEM-Vac & Adv. Mat'ls, etc.).

Responsible for driving POR alignment of the Producer GT and Sym3 Centris & SRP platforms to Singapore Manufacturing: identifying resourcing opportunities, supplier sourcing selection (in alignment with SAM commodity strategy), qualifying within the BU and at customer, and managing share allocation between suppliers.

Responsible for leading resourcing projects to increase spend with India-based suppliers to >$135M by 2029.

  • Negotiates and influences the opinions of others at the senior executive level and in external organizations; exercises sensitivity to the audience

Position requires understanding of Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct and compliance with these standards at all times. This includes demonstrating the highest level of ethical conduct reflecting Applied Materials' core values.

Education: Bachelor's Degree (Supply Chain Management / Industrial Engineering preferred)

Experience: 10 - 15 Years (Leadership positions in Supply Chain / Sourcing preferred)
