Sr. Manager, Market Research & Insights
Location: Mexico City (Hybrid)

This role is part of Alcon's Marketing function, a team that helps provide access to products across all channels, including through traditional Marketing strategies, event planning, and professional education.

The Sr. Manager, Market Research & Insights is primarily responsible for developing and driving marketing research and analytics programs to provide strategic insights that support long-term business goals and impact company earnings.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Own annual Strat plan forecast exercise for Vision Care franchise (e.g. coordination of consolidation of actuals, market data, key inputs, creation of output decks)
• Create and maintain quarterly factbooks for VC market size, Alcon market share using syndicated data
• Create and maintain data lake repository for Vision Care market data
• Create and maintain data visualizations (e.g. Tableau dashboards) for Vision Care market data and Vision Care strategic plan revenue forecast
• Perform additional ad hoc analyses as needed
• Perform specialized market research tasks and conduct independent research to gather and analyze market and customer data, supporting project goals
• Monitor market conditions, trends, and competitor behavior, providing insights and recommendations based on research findings
• Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment with project objectives and contribute to achieving project goals through advanced skills and specialized knowledge
• Support the Market Research & Insights team by providing valuable data and insights, directly impacting the success of market research projects
• Make decisions within the scope of assigned tasks and responsibilities, applying advanced knowledge of market research methodologies and data analysis tools
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, maintaining attention to detail and reliability
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with others

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Finance, Administration, or equivalent finance experience.)
• Advanced level of English
• 7+ years of experience in finance or similar roles
• Experience using Tableau, Alteryx or similar tools
