Our refineries in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana have a combined crude capacity of 302,000 barrels per day

Provides leadership, direction and strategies for maintenance function consisting primarily of maintenance planning, routine maintenance, turnaround planning/execution and capital/expense projects. Actively participates in labor-management committees (where appropriate) and in developing and strategic/operational plans and budgets. Leadership accountability for safe, environmentally sound and reliable operations of Maintenance department.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Two (2) or more years maintenance leadership (Required)
Eight (8) or more years experience in maintenance within a refining, industrial or manufacturing facility (Required)
No Licensure or Certification Required.

Walk job site on a regular basis (50%) , Must be able to wear PPE , May be required to climb ladders or scaffolding
Manages and leads the activities of the Maintenance Team to ensure process safety, safety, environmental, reliability, and cost goals of the refinery are achieved
Implements and manages the environmental requirements ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and rules
Leads steward for site maintenance budget and annual maintenance plan
Supervises, coaches and mentors maintenance supervisors and planners/schedulers on maintenance priorities and schedules, policies and procedures, employee relations and work activities
Collaborates with Production Leadership to set maintenance department objectives and strategies
Develops and tracks department scorecard matrix of maintenance department’s goals, objectives, and strategies
Develops matrix for backlog Maintenance work
Ensures proper training of supervision and craftsmen
Ensures that all maintenance work includes quality documentation, including procedures, checklists and/or job plans, signed off by maintenance and production supervision
Supports turnaround and unit shutdown planning and execution through active participation in scope development, providing justification for work items, and providing support during commissioning of equipment, shutdown/startup, and outage timeframe
Manages preventative and predictive maintenance activities, procedures, and programs
Approves requisitions and contract service authorizations within the Delegation of Authority limits
Responsible for controlling overtime worked to minimize budget impact
Primarily responsible for facilitating Post Shut-down Critique meeting and following up on Post-Shutdown Critique meeting assignments
