DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Sr. Manager, International Finance – Trade Markets,locatedinAttiki, Greece.

This role serves as a senior finance leader supporting international trade markets across the DePuy Synthes portfolio. The Sr. Manager, International Finance – Trade Marketsprovidesfinancial leadership, strategic insight, and governance across pricing, commercial agreements, distributor performance, and market profitability. This role partners closely with regional commercial leaders, supplychain, and global finance to drive sustainable growth, disciplined execution, and strong financial controls in complex international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for assigned international trade markets, including revenue, margin, and operating income.

  • Provide financialpartnershipto regional commercial and trade teams, supporting pricing strategies, distributor agreements, and go‑to‑market decisions.

  • Evaluate andmonitordistributor performance, trade investments, rebates, and commercial incentives to ensure financial return and policy compliance.

  • Drive transparency and governance across trade terms, contracts, and commercial programs in alignment with global finance and compliance standards.

  • Deliver actionable insights through financial analysis, variance explanations, and scenario modeling to support strategic decisions.

  • Support annual business planning, long‑range planning, and quarterly outlook processes for international markets.

  • Partner with supply chain and operations to assess cost drivers, inventory impacts, and market profitability.

  • Lead and developfinancetalent, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, ora relatedfield.

  • Preferred:MBA or other advanced business degree.

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive finance experience, including experience in commercial, trade, or international finance roles.

  • Demonstrated experience at a manager or senior manager level supporting regional or international businesses.

  • Strong financial planning, forecasting, and analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into business insights.

  • Proven ability to partner with senior commercial leaders and influence complex, cross‑functional decision‑making.

  • Solid understanding of pricing, margin management, distributor models, and commercial agreements.

Preferred:

  • Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.

  • Exposure to emerging or growth markets and distributor‑based business models.

  • Prior people‑management experience anda track recordof developing finance talent.

  • Experience with ERP systems and global financial reporting tools.

  • Experience working in matrixed, multinational organizations with multiple stakeholders.

Other:

  • Language:Fluency in Englishrequired;additionalEuropean or regional languages preferred.

  • Travel:Up to 20–30% international travel.

  • Certifications:CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€68,500.00 - €116,035.00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
