STATEMENT:

The Senior Manager Indirect Procurement will be responsible for managing the Events, Marketing and Professional Services. The person will collaborate closely with various Stakeholder teams to ensure that projects are managed cost effectively. The individual selected for this position will lead cross-functional teams and projects. This person will be responsible for leading the category strategy, communicating this with stakeholders and executing on it. Moreover this person will work closely with the events and marketing teams to ensure that budgets and compliance are met.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:

PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop and execute category strategies for Events, Marketing, and Professional Services, leveraging market intelligence, supplier insights, and demand planning to deliver cost, quality, and innovation outcomes.

· Lead end-to-end sourcing and RFP/RFx processes, including supplier identification, bid design, commercial evaluation, and award decisions to ensure competitive and compliant sourcing outcomes.

· Drive strategic supplier negotiations and contracting, including drafting, negotiating, and executing new agreements as well as renewing and optimizing existing contracts to maximize value and mitigate risk.

· Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Events, Finance, Legal, HR) to align procurement strategies with business priorities, ensure stakeholder buy-in, and deliver seamless execution.

· Manage supplier performance and relationships, including establishing KPIs/SLAs, conducting business reviews, and driving continuous improvement, innovation, and cost optimization initiatives.

· Ensure procurement governance and compliance, including adherence to company sourcing policies, supplier onboarding standards, and risk management requirements across all engagements.

· Deliver measurable value through analytics and continuous improvement, including spend analysis, benchmarking, cost-saving initiatives, and identification of process efficiencies and standardization opportunities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This person will lead a team of 1 – 3 people

SKILLS:

• Knowledge of Oracle Purchasing and iProcurement with an understanding of the Procurement and Sourcing fields.
• Strong analytical skills backed up by advanced knowledge of related tools (e.g., Excel lookups, pivot tables and charts).
• Experience with sourcing and vendor management strategies
• Solid judgment with ability to make calculated decisions.
• Sense of urgency and ability to execute and manage multiple projects.

English

Experience:

Minimum 12+ years of experience in stratergic sourcing or other supply chain function.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or university degree, Ideally Administration, Economics, Marketing ,Finance, Industrial Engineering or related
