What will you be doing?

Our Technology team is seeking a Director of Client Development to work as a partner with premiere brands in the Tech space. This person will be responsible for building relationships, providing analysis and value-added insights, delivering flawlessly, and driving revenue through consultative selling.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive Client Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client relationships by aligning Circana’s data and software solutions with their strategic goals.
  • Manage the Sales Cycle: Lead end-to-end sales processes including prospecting, needs assessment, solution development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Drive integration of Circana data into client’s business process and deliver revenue through a Solutions mindset.
  • Build relationships with client contacts (all levels) and become an expert in client business initiatives and strategies.
  • Own the development account plans for strategic clients and provide the leadership to meet the objectives of those plans.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams (e.g., Client Insights, Product, and Analytics) to deliver integrated solutions and ensure client success.
  • Champion Client Success: Ensure client satisfaction by proactively addressing challenges, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering consistent value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3+ years of experience and track record of achieving quota in consultative sales (skilled negotiator with sales experience).
  • Capable of strategic thinking. Able to develop long range plans and able to generate creative ideas, visualize possibilities and effectively sell those concepts.
  • Possess strong presentation skills with a high comfort level presenting to large groups and senior audiences
  • Office suite of products knowledge required
  • Experience in sales, marketing, brand or product management in the technology business is a plus but not a requirement.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $97,000 to $103,000.
