Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Sr. Manager, GBS Bogota,locatedin Bogotá, Colombia

TheSr. Manager, GBS Bogotais a senior people leader responsible for overseeingHR Global Business Services operationsin Bogotá, ensuring high‑quality, compliant, and scalable HR services that support employees and leaders across regions. This role plays a critical leadership role in driving service excellence, continuous improvement, and operational stability while enabling DePuy Synthes’ global workforce strategy. The position offers the opportunity to lead a large, diverse team, influence global HR service delivery, and shape the future of HR operations within a global MedTech organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for HR Global Business Services delivered from the Bogotá site, ensuring service quality, consistency, and compliance.

  • Lead, develop, and engagepeoplemanagers and teams, drivingstrong performancemanagement, talent development, and succession planning.

  • Partner with Global HR, Centers of Expertise, and regional stakeholders to align service delivery with business and employee needs.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives,leveragingstandardization, automation, and process optimization to improve efficiency and employee experience.

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, internal policies, data privacy, and governance requirements across HR services.

  • Manage operational metrics, service level agreements (SLAs), risk controls, and financial performance for the Bogotá GBS operation.

  • Lead change management initiatives supporting global HR transformations, system implementations, or organizational changes.

  • Foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, and continuous learning aligned with the Johnson & Johnson Credo.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degreerequired(Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field).

  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • Typically8–10 yearsof progressive experience in HR operations, shared services, or Global Business Services.

  • Proven experience leading people leaders and managing large, multi‑layered teams.

  • Strong knowledge of HR service delivery models, employee lifecycle processes, and HR systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex operations, metrics, and service performance.

  • Experience partnering with global stakeholders in a matrixed organization.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a multinational or shared services environment.

  • Exposure toHR transformation, automation, or digital enablement initiatives.

  • Experience supporting multiple geographies and cultures.

  • Strongchangeleadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Other:

  • Languages:Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).

  • Travel:Up to 10–20% international travel as business needs require.

  • Certifications:HR or process improvement certifications (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) preferred but notrequired
