Job Description

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business
  • MBA or Master's degree in Finance (preferred)
  • CPA, CMA or CFA (highly advantageous)

Experience

  • 8-10 years of progressive finance experience
  • At least 4 years in Financial Planning & Analysis
  • 2-3 years in people or team leadership
  • Direct ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
  • Hands-on management of full P&L or major business unit

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills
  • Expert-level Excel and Powerpoint proficiency
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Hands-on use of FP&A/planning tools (e.g. Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive)
  • Strong variance analysis, KPI tracking and scenario analysis capability

Business & Strategic Skills

  • Strong business partnering with senior leaders
  • Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
  • Sound understanding of business drivers, cost structures, and profitability
  • Strategic mindset with commercial acumen

Leadership & Behavioral Competencies

  • Proven ability to lead, coach and develop analysts
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills
  • High level of accountability, initiative and attention to detail
  • Ability to influence decisions without formal authority
