What You'll Do

Commercial Finance Business Partnering

  • Partner closely with the OpCo GM and leadership team to drive business performance, support strategic decision-making, and deliver profitable growth across China.
  • Provide financial leadership on key customer opportunities, including deal assessment, pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and investment decisions.
  • Lead the planning cycle, including annual operating plans, forecasts, estimates, business reviews, and long-range strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Operations leaders to evaluate market dynamics, pricing actions, competitive positioning, market penetration opportunities, emerging solutions, and channel performance.
  • Drive performance management by translating financial and operational data into actionable insights, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending growth and productivity initiatives.
  • Partner with the OpCo GM and HR to develop performance measurement frameworks, incentive plans, and management dashboards, including VCP calculation and productivity model tracking.

PMO & Transformation Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate strategic initiatives across Cytiva China, ensuring alignment with business priorities, value-creation objectives, and organizational goals.
  • Establish and maintain project governance, portfolio management processes, execution standards, and reporting mechanisms to enable effective decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Drive cross-functional transformation programs, including DBS deployment, Digital Transformation, Finance Transformation, Finance IT, AI-enabled productivity, and process excellence initiatives.
  • Facilitate steering committee reviews, executive updates, risk management, dependency tracking, action follow-up, and escalation processes to support timely decisions and successful delivery.
  • Monitor project outcomes through defined KPIs, milestone tracking, resource planning, risk and dependency management, and benefits realization.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by applying DBS principles, Kaizen methodologies, standard work, value-stream mapping, and data-driven problem solving.

Finance Excellence & Operational Effectiveness

  • Continuously improve financial processes, management reporting, forecasting accuracy, and business analytics to enhance decision quality and organizational effectiveness.
  • Drive automation, digitalization, and simplification initiatives to improve productivity, transparency, and operating efficiency across the Finance organization.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; CPA, AICPA, CMA, or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in finance, business partnering, FP&A, commercial finance, or related roles within a multinational environment.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to connect financial performance to commercial and operational drivers and influence business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional programs, PMO activities, transformation initiatives, or continuous improvement projects.
  • Solid knowledge of China GAAP; working knowledge of US GAAP is preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence, manage stakeholders effectively, and build strong partnerships at all organizational levels.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with DBS, Lean, Digital Transformation, Finance Transformation, AI, or business process improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, Power BI, Microsoft Project, and project collaboration tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to communicate complex business issues clearly and concisely.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and highly accountable, with a positive mindset and a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or a related industry is preferred.
