Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. The Senior Manager, Facilities Management – APACis responsible fortheend‑to‑endoperational delivery of Facilities Management services across the APAC region, supporting DePuy Synthes sites spanning mature and emerging markets. This role translates regional FM strategy intosite‑levelexecution, ensuring safe, reliable, compliant, andcost‑effectivehard and soft FM service delivery aligned to DPS standards and Project Osprey separation requirements.

Operating as the primary APAC execution lead, this role partners closely with site leaders, regional EHS&S, Quality, Real Estate, Project Delivery, and outsourced service providers to manage daily operations, service performance, risk, and continuity across the APAC portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities Operations & Service Delivery

• Leadday‑to‑dayFM service delivery across APAC sites, ensuring consistent execution of global FM standards while adapting to local regulatory, labor, and infrastructure requirements.

• Oversee hard and soft FM services, including building operations, maintenance, utilities, janitorial, security coordination, andlife‑safetysystems.

• Serve as the primary escalation point for APAC FM operational issuesimpactingsafety, compliance, or business continuity.

Vendor & Performance Management

• Manage regional FM service providers andsite‑levelvendors, driving performance against SLAs, KPIs, and service specifications.

• Support regional contract execution, service transitions, and performance remediation in partnership with Global FM and Procurement.

• Identifycontinuous improvement andcost‑optimizationopportunities across the APAC FM portfolio.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and documentationacross diverse APAC legal, safety, environmental, and labor frameworks.

• Partner with EHS&S, Quality, Security, and Legal to manage operational risk, incident response, andinspectionreadiness.

• Support participation in crisis management and business continuity activities for APAC sites.

Project Osprey & Portfolio Transitions

• Execute FM readiness activities for site separations, transfers, new locations, andwork‑from‑hometransitions under Project Osprey.

• Provide FM input into capital projects, site transitions, and lease events, ensuring operational requirements are embedded early.

• Coordinate FM support for site onboarding/offboarding and stabilization activities.

Stakeholder & Site Leadership Partnership

• Act as a trusted operational partner to APAC site leaders, providing guidance on facilities capabilities, constraints, and risk tradeoffs.

• Support alignment between Global FM standards and local site execution, escalating structural gaps or constraints to the Director as needed.

Data, Reporting & Operational Insights

• Maintain accountability for FM data accuracy, including asset records, service performance metrics, and issue tracking.

• Contribute to regional dashboards, reporting, and insights that informportfolio‑leveldecisions and leadership reviews.

Scope & Decision Making

• Executionaccountability for APAC FM operations across multiple countries and regulatory environments.

• Authority to manage vendor performance, resolvesite‑levelissues, and escalate risks appropriately.

• Strategic decisions and budget authority remain with the Director; this role focuses on operational excellence and disciplined execution.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Architecture, Business, or related fieldrequired

• Advanced degree preferred but notrequired

Experience

• 8–10+ years of experience in Facilities Management, Engineering, or Operations, preferably in a multinational or regulated environment.

• Demonstrated experience managing outsourced FM service models across multiple sites.

• Experience supporting APAC countries with diverse regulatory and infrastructure maturity strongly preferred.

• Experience in medicaldevice, life sciences, manufacturing, or highly regulated industries preferred.
