Job Description


The Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Forecasting & Demand Planning supports the development, maintenance, and analysis of demand and labor forecasts across the North America network. This role drives forecast accuracy and translates demand signals into actionable insights that inform inventory flow, capacity planning, and omnichannel fulfillment. As a highly analytical individual contributor, this position partners cross-functionally to support S&OP / Integrated Business Planning and enable data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

Demand & Supply Forecasting

  • Develop and maintain short- and mid-term demand forecasts using historical data, seasonality, and business inputs
  • Analyze forecast accuracy, identify variance drivers, and recommend improvements
  • Support supply and capacity planning to balance inventory availability with operational and cost constraints
  • Build scenario models to assess impacts of demand shifts, promotions, and supply disruptions

S&OP / Integrated Business Planning

  • Support demand review processes through forecast inputs, reporting, and variance analysis
  • Partner cross-functionally to incorporate promotions, assortment changes, and open-to-buy plans into forecasts
  • Document assumptions, risks, and trade-offs to drive alignment across stakeholders

Labor & Capacity Planning

  • Support labor forecasting for distribution and fulfillment operations based on projected volume
  • Monitor capacity utilization and flag risks related to volume spikes or constraints
  • Partner with operations to align workforce planning with demand expectations

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain dashboards for demand trends, forecast accuracy, and capacity outlook
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Support ad hoc analysis related to demand, supply, and scenario planning

Process Improvement & Tools

  • Identify opportunities to improve forecasting processes, data quality, and efficiency
  • Support enhancements to planning systems, tools, and data infrastructure
  • Apply statistical methods and best practices to improve forecast accuracy

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Statistics, or related field
  • 4–6 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics (retail preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging historical data for forecasting
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas); Power BI preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Preferred

  • Experience in omnichannel retail or consumer goods environments
  • Exposure to S&OP or Integrated Business Planning processes
