The Senior Manager of Concessions Operations is responsible for leading and engaging partnership between vendor and stores to ensure successful execution of business priorities. Beginning with the on-boarding of new concession vendors to Bloomingdale’s, the Senior Manager of Concessions Operations must ensure that all vendors are kept abreast of Bloomingdale’s strategic initiatives, policy and procedures, and adoptive of Bloomingdale’s store selling culture and strategies, The Senior Manager of Concessions Operations holds vendors accountable to staffing commitments for overall consistency of coverage. The Senior Manager of Concessions Operations is a vital partner to both stores and vendors, helping to ensure a productive relationship that enables all to maximize results and effectively drive business.

Essential Functions

Strategic Initiatives & Leadership

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and proposing scalable solutions across vendor onboarding, communication, and operational workflows.
  • Leverage data and insights to inform strategic decisions and improve vendor performance and customer experience.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance concession productivity and ensure alignment across Stores, Digital, Fulfillment, and Store Operations.

Vendor Engagement & Communications Strategy

  • Onboard/educate vendors regarding expectations, policy, procedures and critical partners at Bloomingdale's.
  • Responsible for communication to vendors and stores regarding points of contact, shop openings/exits, operational/logistical and staffing needs.
  • Owner of Concession Vendor Handbook and Concession Store Handbook. Responsible for ensuring all business partners are aligned regarding mutual expectations.
  • Maintain concession site for BDS Organization. Partner with Stores, Customer Experience, Selling Services & Technology to ensure communication of NPS and b-connected reporting.
  • Partner with coordinator to monitor and manage all hidden cost expense issues (alterations, transfers, store payroll costs). Recommend opportunities for cost sharing where appropriate.
  • Support enterprise-wide strategies by engaging vendors as early adopters.

Operations & Logistics

  • Owner of all project plans/time and action for all brand launches and conversions ensuring seamless execution
  • Store Design Liaison: manage/orchestrate shop openings, exits, floor moves. Ensure vendor alignment on signing standards
  • Ensure proper back of house amenities (stock room space/adjacency, registers, fitting rooms, and handhelds).
  • Fulfillment & Vendor Direct Liaison: ensure the adherence to all policies and procedures with regard to picking, packing, shipping, and supplies.
  • Support ASMO/APM in accounts for store supplies.
  • Maintain the non-congruent return tool.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • We encourage candidates with either a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field to apply
  • Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner. Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.
  • Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically. Ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Requires prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional standing
    • Occasionally requires walking, bending, reaching, hearing and talking
    • Continuous use of computers and other office equipment
