DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Sr. Manager, Construction Mgmt. Lead,locatedinRaynham, MA or in West Chester, PA or Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Warsaw, IN or Raritan, NJ.

This role leads construction management activities for complex capital and facilities projects across DePuy Synthes sites, ensuring delivery that is safe, compliant, on schedule, and within approved budgets. The Sr. Manager, Construction Mgmt. Lead partners closely with Engineering, EHS, Quality, Procurement, and site leadership to translate business needs intohighqualitybuiltenvironments that support manufacturing, R&D, and corporate operations. This is an opportunity to shape project outcomes withenterpriselevelimpact while strengthening standardized construction practices across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead construction management for large, complex capital and facilities projects frompreconstructionthrough closeout, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety requirements.

  • Manage external partners including architects, engineers, general contractors, and specialty vendors to ensure performance, compliance, and value delivery.

  • Ensure all construction activitiescomply withapplicable building codes, regulatory requirements, company standards, and EHS policies.

  • Develop and execute construction execution plans, risk mitigation strategies, and sitelogisticsplans aligned with business continuity needs.

  • Oversee project cost controls, change management, forecasting, and reporting for assigned projects.

  • Partner with Global Real Estate, Facilities, Engineering, and site stakeholders to align construction activities withlongtermasset strategies.

  • Provide constructionsubjectmatterexpertiseduring feasibility studies, scope development, and contractor selection.

  • Drive continuous improvement by applying best practices, lessons learned, and standardized processes across construction programs.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, ora relatedtechnical discipline.

  • Preferred:Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • Minimum 8–10 yearsof progressive experience in construction management, capital project delivery, orfacilitiesproject leadership within regulated or industrial environments.

  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex construction projects with multiple stakeholders and external contractors.

  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, cost controls, scheduling, and contract administration.

  • Proven ability to lead safely and ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and regulatory standards.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting pharmaceutical, medical device, or other highly regulated manufacturing or R&D facilities.

  • Experience working within a global or matrixed organization.

  • Familiarity with global capital governance processes and project management frameworks.

  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or PE.

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across technical andnontechnicalaudiences.

Other:

  • Language:English (businessproficiency).

  • Travel:Limited; up to 15% domestic travel, depending on project needs.

  • Certifications:PMP, CCM, PE, or equivalent (preferred).

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

122,000.00 - 245,000.00 USD Annual

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
