Innovation Starts With You

Propel your career at Belden, where innovation creates possibilities—for our people, our customers, and the communities we serve. We connect people, information, and ideas to solve the world’s most complex connectivity challenges, turning curiosity into meaningful impact. Here, you’ll take on work that challenges you, supports your growth, and empowers you to shape what’s next. You’ll collaborate with global teams, gain diverse perspectives, and contribute to solutions that extend beyond our business—creating value in the world around us.

Together, we are shaping the future of digitization and paving the way for the next generation of innovation.

The Finance Manager will lead financial planning and analysis activities supporting the Americas Commercial Finance team. In this role, you will partner with commercial sales leadership to provide financial insights, improve forecasting accuracy, and support data-driven decision-making. You will translate sales performance into financial impact and deliver reporting and recommendations that guide regional strategy and business outcomes. This position is designated as a hybrid role, offering a blend of in-person collaboration and remote flexibility. The selected candidate will be required to work from our Carmel, IN or Rosemont, IL office.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the monthly and quarterly forecasting cycles and annual budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain bookings forecast models; identify risks and opportunities and recommend actions to support target achievement.
  • Partner with commercial sales leaders to translate business activity into financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead business performance reviews by analyzing sales results, bookings, and quota performance, and preparing clear, executive-ready reporting.
  • Establish and monitor sales quotas, key performance indicators, and performance tracking; support ad hoc financial analysis as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with increasing scope and responsibility.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Experience with business intelligence or reporting tools (such as Hyperion or Tableau) preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to partner with and influence stakeholders

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $120,000 - $160,000 annually, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.

Belden also offers hybrid and remote work practices where feasible and provides employees with benefits that could include health/dental/vision, long term/short term disability, life insurance, HSA/FSA, matching retirement plans, paid vacation, parental leave, employee stock purchase plan, paid leave for volunteer work in your community, training opportunities, professional talent management and succession planning, corporate health well-being initiatives and a work culture which includes commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and sustainability!
