Meet the team:
The Commercial Excellence team drives the strategies, tools, and insights that empower our field teams to deliver exceptional results. As part of the broader Sales Operations and Effectiveness organization, the team partners with Sales, Marketing, IT, Data Science, and Executive Leadership to optimize go-to-market execution, improve sales productivity, and accelerate revenue growth. As Sr. Manager, Commercial Excellence, you will lead a high-performing regional team and play a critical role in equipping the business with the analytics, processes, and technologies needed to scale effectively.

Where you come in:

  • You lead and develop the APAC Regional Commercial Excellence team, ensuring resources are aligned to support business priorities and growth.
  • You partner with Sales Leadership to define go-to-market priorities, establish execution metrics, and drive field accountability.
  • You champion best practices, change management, and innovation, including the use of AI/ML, CRM, and digital tools to enhance commercial performance.
  • You oversee sales data processing and ensure key metrics, including Dexcom Accessible Patient data, are integrated into reporting and strategy.
  • You deliver timely, actionable reporting and insights aligned to go-to-market priorities.
  • You partner with Data Science to design and interpret advanced analytics, segmentation models, and targeting strategies.
  • You prepare executive-ready reporting that highlights opportunities, risks, and performance trends.
  • You oversee territory design, quota setting, target list development, and incentive compensation planning.
  • You drive continuous improvement of sales processes, systems, and reporting.
  • You advance business planning and review processes to ensure alignment, accountability, and execution of strategic priorities.
  • You identify and implement advanced sales tools and technologies, including AI/ML solutions, while ensuring strong adoption and return on investment.
  • You collaborate with Sales Training to align capability-building programs with go-to-market priorities.
  • You lead the evolution of sales materials and messaging from print to digital in support of omnichannel strategies.
  • You build multichannel and omnichannel roadmaps aligned with marketing campaigns and patient access initiatives.
  • You drive global CRM process alignment while ensuring regional requirements are addressed.
  • You design CRM reporting to monitor adoption, utilization, and effectiveness of field activities.
  • You partner with IT, Marketing, and Sales Operations to ensure CRM and digital platforms support commercial needs.
  • You serve as a central point of contact for field communications, ensuring initiatives are clearly prioritized and communicated.
  • You facilitate Sales Leadership meetings and coordinate incoming field requests.
  • You collaborate with Marketing to support omnichannel execution, HCP engagement, and new product planning.
  • You perform other relevant tasks and responsibilities as assigned by your manager.

What makes you successful:

  • You bring extensive experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device organizations.
  • You have strong leadership experience in sales operations, commercial excellence, or analytics.
  • You demonstrate expertise in sales analytics, incentive compensation, territory design, targeting, and go-to-market execution.
  • Your knowledge includes CRM systems, AI/ML applications, and omnichannel commercial strategies.
  • You are highly analytical and skilled at translating complex data into actionable insights.
  • Your communication and influencing skills enable you to work effectively across functions, leadership levels, and geographies.
  • Your leadership style fosters collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
  • Your experience in matrixed global or regional organizations allows you to navigate complexity and drive alignment.

Experience and Education:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 13+ years of industry experience
  • 5-8 years of previous people management experience
