Job Description

Industrialization & New Project Execution

  • Lead industrialization and ensure SOP of all new projects on time.
  • Create and manage micro‑level execution plans for industrialization activities.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, cost evaluation, process design, and execution of new technologies. Ensure all project milestones are met within timelines.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for equipment development and procurement with required quality standards. Support plant expansion projects and manufacturing capacity enhancement.

Process & Equipment Performance Improvement

  • Ensure continuous improvement of equipment and manufacturing processes focusing on performance and quality.
  • Drive improvements in OEE, cycle time reduction, and bottleneck elimination.
  • Define, optimize, and standardize shop-floor processes including material handling and logistics flow.
  • Execute performance tracking and reporting activities for all key indicators.

Infrastructure & Systems Responsibility

  • Own and maintain ASC infrastructure, including shop-floor layouts, MES systems, workstation/cell PCs, and digital tools, Ensure robust visual management systems across production areas.
  • Oversee performance tracking systems and dashboards, Support training for operators and production personnel.

Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration

  • Facilitate equipment-related know‑how transfer and cooperation across CVOIF ↔ CVOIx, CVOIF ↔ plants, and plant-to-plant networks.
  • Ensure strong cooperation between R&D, plants, purchasing, and Industrial Engineering during Simultaneous Engineering (SE) processes, Contribute to global standards, best practices, and technology sharing initiatives.

Leadership & People Management

  • Lead employees according to Conti core values.
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities, Define work packages, roles, and responsibilities; delegate effectively to team leaders and members.
  • Oversee staffing, hiring, and employee development, Ensure effective communication and coordination across teams, Fulfill and manage the Industrial Engineering cost center budget.

Technical Excellence

  • Process Development & Standardization: deep knowledge of methods, tools, and standards, Strong financial understanding, specifically financial processes, cost structures, equipment cost impact, investment planning and tracking.
  • Expertise in manufacturing concepts, technologies, equipment engineering (mechanical design, PLC systems), and relevant standards (CE, ISO, etc.), Solid understanding of Simultaneous Engineering principles, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong performance improvement skills: cycle time analysis, downtime analysis, performance tracking, Strong quality improvement skills: problem solving, basic statistics, DoE, DFSS, P-FMEA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field with 12–18 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Industrialization, Manufacturing Engineering, or related domains.
  • Strong project management and execution discipline, Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, Cross-functional collaboration capability, Leadership and capability-building mindset, Supplier management and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of handling new project industrialization and SOP execution in manufacturing setups, Experience in lean manufacturing, high‑volume production, cost optimization, and process improvement.
  • ≥ 3 years of experience in operations, ≥ 3 years of leadership experience (including functional leadership in projects), ≥ 3 years of experience in international and intercultural projects, including exposure to Europe, NAFTA, and Asia.
